Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Future Music Forum 2011. The main objective of the FMF is to gather the leading minds in the world of online & mobile music to share views on how music is being shared in todays digital age & discuss new developments in music technology. Ultimately our goal is to provide musicians and music industry professionals alike with the tools to help monitize these advancements for future projects. The 2nd edition will be taking place at the Museu D'art Contemporani De Barcelona, MACBA
For the 2nd edition we have divided the event into four different modules of interest. We aim to provide a professional yet relaxed platform to explore, engage and discuss these topics with a carefully selected group of music futurists, label owners, managers, music and technology entrepreneurs and digital music consumption analysts. We believe that the future starts with healthy discussion and interaction between both poles of the industry.
Our goal is to establish this event on the music industry's annual agenda. With Barcelona Ciudad as the idyllic backdrop, a city with a thriving music scene & The MACBA as the ideal venue, we believe the Future Music Forum will add to the ambiance of music appreciation and innovation felt throughout the city.
